International Autumn Seminar Resilience League in Kyiv

International autumn seminar Resilience League, entitled “National resilience: communication and security” and held in Kyiv on 28-30 October 2018, gathered around 30 young professionals and experts from Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus as well as speakers and trainers from the Baltic states, Georgia, Ukraine and United Kingdom.

The main idea of the seminar was to address the question how effective communication could strengthen national resilience. During three intensive days of the event, participants were exposed to the latest knowledge about and best practice in political, strategic, media and crisis communications. Moreover, the following topics were discussed during practical sessions: modern diplomacy, new information policies, societal threats in digital age, polarization and radicalization.

The event was organised in cooperation between the International Centre for Defence and Security (ICDS), Friedrich Ebert Foundation Regional Office “Dialogue Eastern Europe”, National Centre of Defence & Security Awareness (Estonia) and Centre for Progressive Communications (Ukraine).
