Nolan Theisen is head of the Energy Program at GLOBSEC Policy Institute in Bratislava (Slovakia). Before arriving at the institute he worked for three years as an analyst at the Regional Centre for Energy Policy Research (REKK) in Budapest, handling projects from the public and private sector with a focus on the Central and Eastern European region. His areas of expertise include geopolitics of energy, security of supply, regional market integration, gas infrastructure analysis, and EU renewable energy policy. Nolan received an MA in international economics with a focus on energy from the Global Policy Institute at the University of California in 2011.
