On 13 September a group of scholars from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation visited ICDS.
Director of ABCD and ICDS non-Resident Research Fellow Henrik Praks gave a presentation on security and defence environment in the Baltic Sea region, and elucidated NATO’s deterrence and defence approach and measures. ICDS Research Fellow Piret Pernik spoke about cyber security in the region, and elaborated on key factors of the Estonian strategy to counter cyber threats and vulnerabilities related to growing digitisation. Presentations by the researchers were followed by questions from the audience. The German Academic Scholarship Foundation supports young people with outstanding academic talents.
