ICDS Chief Executive Dmitri Teperik participated in the roundtable entitled “Understanding State Influence in the Age of Post Truths, Fake News, and the Role of Media”, organised by the George C. Marshall European Centre for Security Studies in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on 20-21 February 2018.
In his interventions, Dmitri Teperik underlined the importance of planning preventive actions against hostile influence in social media. He also provided several examples on why reactive refutation is not effective and also suggested what instruments could be used in order to enhance informational resilience of attacked societies.
