Poland’s Bid for Missile Defence – Lessons (Not Yet) Learned

For almost two decades, the Polish-American strategic partnership has constituted one of the most important pillars of Poland’s security policy. Seeking closer political-military ties with the United States, which is persistently perceived to be the prime guarantor of stability on the European continent, has been the firm goal of subsequent Polish governments, irrespective of their political affiliation.
