Increasing the Baltic States Defence Posture – Whether to Follow the Israeli Model

Henrik Praks spoke to Bloomberg View about increasing Baltic states defence posture in the light of the recent report published by Rand Corporation.

The article focused on the issue whether the Baltic states and their allies should model the three states defence by following more the example of Israel. He pointed out that while further significant improvements to Baltic states indigenous self-defence capabilities are necessary, there are also limits what can be achieved independently due to the gross imbalance in size with the potential aggressor.
