ICDS Hosts International Expert Seminar on Hostile Information Operations as Part of Hybrid War

International Centre for Defence and Security organised an international expert seminar entitled “Hostile Information Operations as part of Hybrid War”, held in Tallinn on June 28, 2016.

25 leading experts from Estonia, Canada, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland and Ukraine discussed various socio-political and informational components of recent hybrid aggressions in Europe as well as some examples of effective strategic communication and counteractions in information warfare. ICDS Chief Executive Dmitri Teperik made a presentation on information behaviour of defence volunteers in Ukraine.
The expert seminar was organised by the ICDS in the framework of the NATO Research Task Group SAS-117 “Information Operations for Influence”, in co-operation with the National Centre for Defence & Security Awareness (Estonia).
