Anna Bulakh in the TV Show “Military Diary”, Channel 112, Ukraine

On March 4, 2016 ICDS Research Fellow Anna Bulakh participated in the live TV show discussion “Military Diary” hosted by the Channel 112 on Ukraine’s security and defence issues. Among the features topics were the current situation in the area of Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in Eastern Ukraine, Minsk agreements, ongoing reforms of the security and defence sectors of Ukraine and the ongoing challenges of the hybrid warfare. Anna Bulakh highlighted that hybrid nature of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine lead to significant consequences for broader European security, particularly for Estonia and Nordic-Baltic region. Bulakh stressed that Ukraine has to communicate and outreach with the strategic message of the significance of the crisis it has to deal and practical knowledge it has been acquiring for more than two years. An active outreach would keep attention of the NATO and EU alliance turned into the Eastern flank of the Trans-Atlantic region.
