On May 31 ICDS was visited by a delegation of Members of Parliament from Sweden including members from Foreign Affairs and Defence Policy committees of Riksdag. Research Fellow Henrik Praks gave to the visiting delegation a presentation focusing on regional security and defence issues and expectations concerning NATO’s Warsaw Summit. He described the major factors influencing Estonia’s security and defence policies, reflected on the current strategic context, threats and challenges stemming from Russia and laid out the role of Estonia and the NATO alliance in responding to them.
