Ambassador (ret.) Pauli Järvenpää spoke at the Riga Conference 2016, held on October 28-29, 2016, at the National Library of Latvia.
He was included in a panel “Sweden and Finland – Partners or Allies“. The other speakers in that panel were Ms. Karin Enström, Member of Swedish Parliament, Former Minister of Defence of Sweden, Mr. Benjamin G Ziff, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, the United States, and Dr. Artis Pabriks, Member of the European Parliament, Latvia. The moderator was Mr. Graig Kennedy, Former President of the German Marshall Fund of the United States of America.
