On May 23rd Research Fellow Henrik Praks spoke in Budapest, Hungary at the conference “Questions and Answers before the Warsaw Summit” organised by the Center for Strategic and Defence Studies of the National University of Public Service. The conference explored the perspectives from Central European viewpoint concerning recent developments in the European security architecture, specifically reflecting on the upcoming NATO summit in Warsaw, the relations with Russia and other emerging threats. He spoke in the panel “Containing Russia” and provided his views on the developments in Russia and on their effects on Baltic security. He also took part in an expert workshop “From Newport to Warsaw – Measuring Central European contributions to NATO” which was hosted by the Center for Strategic and Defence Studies in Budapest on May 20.
