ICDS launches Japan Chair

The mission of the Japan Chair is to contribute to a better understanding of the challenges that Japan and the Baltic states or Europe commonly face in the geopolitical environment of the 21st century. The activities of the Japan Chair will focus on doing research and contributing to policy debates on the major challenges in foreign, security and defense policies of Japan. The Japan Chair will participate in relevant networks in Estonia and abroad and develop contacts and cooperation with other experts in the field.

The position of Japan Chair is supported by the Government of Japan.
