On October 31, a seminar was held at the International Centre for Defence Studies to discuss “The Finnish Ministry of Defence Strategy 2025“.
The seminar and following discussion was focused on the main principles of the Finnish MoD’s long-term planning and the different stages of this process. The speakers provided a short overview of the Strategy 2025 in the general context of Baltic Sea security.
The presenters were the Secretary General of the Security and Defence Committee, Finnish MoD, Colonel Aapo Cederberg and Finnish Defence Attaché to Estonia, Colonel Erkki Pekonen.
The seminar was in English and the discussion was led by Riina Kaljurand, Deputy Director of the ICDS.
