On 15 December, the International Centre for Defence Studies organised a seminar with NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ambassador Claudio Bisogniero entitled ‘The Rationale for Smart Defence: The Way Ahead to the Chicago Summit’.
Ambassador Bisogniero is an experienced Italian Diplomat who has served at the Italian Embassies in Beijing and Washington as well as at the Permanent Missions of Italy to the UN in New York and NATO in Brussels. Since 2007, he has been working as NATO Deputy Secretary General.
