On 6 December, ICDS hosted a group of prominent think tankers from the US: Atlantic Council, Brookings Institution, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, GMF, Wilson Center and Vandenberg Coalition.
A roundtable meeting discussed why the disagreements between the transatlantic community and Russia on the common security order in Europe will not end with the war in Ukraine or a change of power in Moscow. Therefore, NATO, as a cornerstone of our collective security, must not mistake pause for peace, relentlessly work to increase our own defence and deterrence capabilities, and eliminate grey zones as the main vulnerability the Kremlin will try to exploit once it sees an opportunity.
