ICDS is happy to welcome Ivo Juurvee as a new member of our research team.
Ivo will be leading our organisation’s efforts to develop a Security & Resilience programme and will conduct research into various aspects of hybrid threats. Ivo is an accomplished academic and holds a PhD in history from the University of Tartu, where his research focused on Estonia’s counter-intelligence and counter-espionage during the period 1918-1940. He also has considerable practical and policy experience, previously serving at the Security and Defence Coordination Unit of the Estonian Government Office and other state organisations. Prior to joining the ICDS, Ivo was Head of the Internal Security Institute at the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences.
