On 17 April, the ICDS was honoured to host a panel with Ambassador of Estonia to the United States Kristjan Prikk and United States Ambassador to the Republic of Estonia George P. Kent that was moderated by Kristi Raik, Deputy Director and Head of Foreign Policy Programme at the ICDS.
With Russia’s war in Ukraine raging for the second year, the discussion inevitably centered around the complex security situation in Europe. Ambassador Kent used this venue to once again reassure the allies that the US supports Ukraine’s efforts to attest control over its sovereign territory, adding that it is up to Kyiv to define victory in its war of defence.
