ICDS organized a NATO Advanced Research Workshop (ARW) supported by the Science for Peace and Security program, on International Expert Support for Ukraine’s Security and Defence Review in cooperation with the Razumkov Centre think tank. Participants at the event on 19–20 May discussed issues of crisis management and internal security, national defence, and the development of the Ukrainian defence industry.
The workshop was attended by over 50 representatives from the Ukrainian government, the private sector, NGOs and leading Western and Ukrainian security and defence experts. It contributed to the creation of new knowledge vital to support Ukrainian security and defence sector reform.
