ICDS Chief Executive Dmitri Teperik participated in the expert study-visit, which took place in Berlin on 18-22 July 2016. The main aim of the training session was to learn German experience in promoting national defence and security for strengthening societal resilience.
Estonian delegation, which consisted of eight practitioners from various organizations (e.g. ICDS, Estonian Defence Forces, Estonia Defence League etc), has visited the following establishments, where discussions and talks have taken place: Federal Foreign Office, German Institute for International and Security Affairs, Federal Ministry of Defence, Bundeswehr, Federal Agency for Civic Education, Berlin Police Headquarters and Bundestag.
The study-visit was organized by the German Federal Foreign Office in close cooperation with the German Embassy in Tallinn in the framework of the security-related development programme Sinu Riigi Kaitse.
