Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro

Ervin Ibrahimović is Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro. Before assuming his current portfolio, he served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Capital Investments, and earlier as Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro. He has been a long-standing member of the Bosniak Party (BS), becoming its president in 2021, and has held posts as municipal councillor in Rožaje and Member of Parliament, having led the BS parliamentary list in 2016, 2020, and 2023 and served in the 26th, 27th, and 28th convocations. His earlier political career includes service in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (2017–22). From 2011 to 2016, he was Consul at the Montenegrin Consulate General in Frankfurt. He holds a master’s degree from the University of Belgrade, following an undergraduate degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Priština.
