Demetris Samuel

Demetris Samuel is Ambassador of Cyprus to Finland and Estonia. Prior to his appointment in Helsinki, he served as Director of the Office of the Minister and Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Earlier postings in his diplomatic career include roles at Cyprus Missions in Helsinki, St Petersburg, Strasbourg, Copenhagen, and Geneva, as well as various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nicosia. He joined the Foreign Service of the Republic of Cyprus in 1999. He read Law at the University of Bristol and holds a postgraduate diploma in Contemporary Diplomacy from the University of Malta.
