The Baltic states and Russia have different views regarding normalization of relations between Russia and the West

ICDS Research Fellow Kalev Stoicescu commented to the Russian language Voice of America on how and why the Baltic states and Russia have different views regarding normalization of relations between Russia and the West, in particular the United States.

He also commented on a recent “working notebook” by the Russian Council on International Affairs, which presented caricature conclusions regarding the policy and intentions, as well as the situation in the Baltic states, e.g. claiming – according to a “scenario” – that Estonia might attack the Russian Federation.
