On 20 February, ICDS was pleased to welcome delegations from the United States and the three Baltic states to a seminar to discuss the maritime aspects of regional defence and deterrence.

The seminar was jointly organised by CNA – a Washington-based federally funded think tank – and ICDS. The participants, from a variety of government, military and academic backgrounds, discussed a range of topics related to the maritime threats, opportunities and challenges for Baltic and other NATO navies in the Baltic Sea during peacetime, crisis and war.
