High Level Conference on Hybrid Threats for EU

On 2 October officials and experts from EU met in Brussels for a conference “Hybrid threats and the EU: State of play and future progress”

Conference took place the framework of Estonian presidency of the EU Council and was organized jointly with the EU Institute for Security Studies. The level was high, indeed – keynote speeches were delivered by High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, Commissions Vice-President for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness Jyrki Katainen and Estonian Minister of Defence Jüri Luik. The three panels dealt with current hybrid threats, cyber resilience and strategic communication.
