Triin’s role at ICDS is to ensure that all our research, publications and news of our events reach both our cooperation partners and everyone interested in defence, security and foreign policy issues. She is responsible for ICDS’s corporate identity and media relations. Journalists are welcome to contact her to reach out to researchers or to find out more about ICDS’s activities.
Prior to joining ICDS, Triin managed the prime minister’s and the government’s media relations on foreign policy issues, took care of communications related to the prime minister’s visits and meetings with foreign guests, and assisted foreign journalists at the Government Office of Estonia. She also was part of the communications team for Estonia’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2017. Triin has worked as a communications adviser for the Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Estonia, an editor and reporter on the foreign news desk at Estonia’s largest daily, Postimees, and has coordinated European Union affairs at the Ministry of Interior of Estonia.
Triin holds a MA in Scandinavian studies (major in Swedish language and literature) and a minor in political science from University of Tartu.
