Sten Saluveer serves as Director of the Tallinn Digital Summit, an invitation-only forum for political, technology, and business leaders hosted by the Prime Minister of Estonia. He is also the Head of Cannes Next & Strategic Advisor at the Marché du Film of the Festival de Cannes.

Sten Saluveer is currently pursuing his doctorate at the University of Tokyo, where he previously earned his Master’s Degree with Honours, Mr. Saluveer leads the Mini MBA programme in Artificial Intelligence at the National Film School of Denmark and serves on the Advisory Board of Future Media Hubs, a network of over 40 leading European media & technology corporations.

His strategic achievements include facilitating co-production agreements between the Republic of Korea and Estonia, founding the media technology hub Storytek, and co-developing the future strategy white paper for the European film and media sector for the Vice-President of the European Commission. He initiated STADIEM, a Horizon 2020-supported investment vehicle, and co architected CresCine, a Horizon Europe-funded programme enhancing content industries in smaller European markets.

As a strategist, he has developed governmental & policy frameworks for organisations including Startup Estonia, the Estonian’ governments moonshots lab Accelerate Estonia and the Estonian Ministry of Culture, while maintaining regular collaboration with the European Commission. Mr. Saluveer serves as a volunteer first responder and paramedic.
