Sara Matea Sundquist is a student in the master’s programme in comparative politics at the University of Bergen, in which her research project also is affiliated with the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy. She holds one bachelor’s degree in political science and one in Russian linguistics, both from the University of Oslo. She first became associated with ICDS as an intern in 2024. Sara’s research interests include Russo-Nordic relations, regional and cross-border identity, and high north governance.
