Oksana Iliuk is a communication specialist in the field of security and defence. She studies the informational and psychological impact of hostility and protection mechanisms. In Detector Media, a public organisation in the field of media and communication in Ukraine, she explores disinformation and manipulation, in particular on social media networks. She also develops tools for forming policies in the field of information and cognitive security based on Big Data. Together with the Estonian–Ukrainian team of the Resilient Ukraine programme, she works on measuring the resilience of society in terms of digital, information, and cognitive security
