Melita Phachulia is an intern at the International Centre for Defence and Security (ICDS) and the Baltic Defence College, as well as an MA student in Disinformation and Societal Resilience at the University of Tartu. She holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Georgia and a Modular Master’s in Adult Education with a focus on digitalisation and democracy from Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. She is a scholar of the Atlantic Council’s DFRLab 360/Digital Sherlocks Program, and has worked in international development and youth-focused projects in Georgia. Her research focuses on disinformation, security, resilience, and international affairs, with a particular emphasis on Georgia, Ukraine, the Nordic-Baltic region, and NATO.
