Maksym Bugriy managed until the end of 2015 a research project on the social-cohesion impact of the Ukrainian–Russian conflict and the lessons for Estonian security policy. His other research fields included the analysis of strategic aspects of Russian security policy. Maksym graduated with an MBA from Catòlica-Lisbon School of Business and Economics and he has a Master’s of Finance from the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv, Ukraine.
Maksym is a Visiting Fellow with the Jamestown Foundation in Washington DC and also practices investment consulting services. He has broad career experience as an investment analyst and researcher with leading Ukrainian think tanks. the Ukrainian Presidential think tank The National Institute for Strategic Studies (NISS).
