Madli Tikerpuu

Madli Tikerpuu is a doctoral student at Tallinn University’s Institute of Political Science and Governance, where her thesis is on the strategic partnership between the European Union and India and its problems, based on examples of cooperation in trade, the fight against terrorism, and science and technology (biotechnology in particular). She has studied in China and India as part of her doctoral studies, and at the time of writing this article, she was undertaking research as a guest research fellow at the School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London.   She has held various positions in the Estonian Defence Forces, Ministry of Defence and Tallinn University, and in the private sector, where she communicated with Asian enterprises on a daily basis. /2015
