Kuno Peek

Kuno Peek worked at the International Centre for Defence and Security from 1 December 2014 to 28 February 2015. Peek analyzed host nation support and multinational exercises and the related issues of comprehensive national defence and use of the reserve army. His duties also included making proposals for shaping positions and action plans in these fields and familiarizing Estonian parties with the experience of other countries.
Before taking the position at the ICDS, Peek worked for the Ministry of Defence from 2010-2014 in the Defence Readiness Department, where he also was the Estonian representative in a number of international strategic transport capability programmes.. As part of his professional activities, Peek has lectured at various international seminars and also at the Officers’ School in Tartu and the NATO School in Oberammergau. Peek is also an active reserve officer and member of the Estonian Defence League (in the Tallinn Defence District’s Naval Division) and the Estonian Reserve Officers’ Association.
Peek studied international business administration at the Estonian Business School. He has a master’s degree in business consultancy and organizational development.
