In her work Justyna Gotkowska focuses on security and defence issues in Northern and Central Europe, following security and defence policies and armed forces’ developments in Germany, in the Nordic and Baltic states. She has been also writing about bi- and multilateral military cooperation in Central and Northern Europe. In recent years, she has been focused on allied presence on NATO’s eastern flank and published on the EU’s Common Security and Defence Policy from Central European perspective. /2021
