Dr Arūnas Molis is a professor at the Faculty of Political Science and Diplomacy, Vytautas Magnus University, in Kaunas (Lithuania). Until the end of 2021, he was Klaipėda LNG project executive at Klaipėdos Nafta, a company that successfully operates the first and, so far, only LNG terminal in the Baltic states. Currently, he also works at Ignitis Group – the largest energy company in the Baltic states. He also teaches courses on security and international relations at the University of Bologna (Italy). Before starting his career at Klaipėdos Nafta, he served as an advisor to the President of Lithuania at the economic and social affairs group, where he was responsible for energy and communication issues. Prior to that, he was with the NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence, where he managed research projects aimed to raise energy awareness among military personnel. He completed his international relations and business law studies at Vilnius, Vytautas Magnus (Kaunas), and Bremen universities.
