Annabel Peterson is a graduate of Leiden university specialised in post-Soviet area studies, collective defence, and national security. She joined the ICDS as an intern in 2022 and has remained loosely affiliated as an occasional author. Ms Peterson is well-versed in political risk analysis, OSINT investigations, and issues involving the Ukraine war. Her research interests include hybrid warfare, national strategic cultures, and Russo-western relations.
