Urmas Paet is a member of the European Parliament. He was Minister of Culture of the Republic of Estonia from 2003 to 2005 and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2005 to 2014. He served as the Deputy Mayor of Nõmme (a district of Tallinn) and prior to this was an active journalist.
