Priit Rohtmets PhD is a senior researcher at the University of Tartu and professor at the Institute of Theology of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church. He studies the history of the 19th- and 20th-century church, focusing on its relationship with the state, and also international cooperation between churches and the history of theology. He has published articles on the Eastern Orthodox Church, addressing both the history of the Balkan churches and the recent and contemporary history of the Orthodox Church in the Baltic states. /2019
