Iurii Melnyk holds a PhD in social communications, is associate professor at the Department of Foreign Press and Information, Faculty of Journalism, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine). His areas of research include media processes, technology of propaganda, information wars, Russian information activity on the global scale. He covers these issues in a number of scientific and journalistic periodicals, makes reports at conferences and delivers lectures at European universities. /2020
